Events & Threads (02/05/10)

Events and Threads are now finally available.

You can create either by clicking the "new" button in the menu at the top right. You will need to be logged in to do so, though.
When you create the event, you'll need to assign it to the relevant committee member(s) (e.g. an event about a party at Park End would be tagged with "Entz").
Once you've saved the event, the committee member will authorise it, at which point it'll show up in the Calendar.
While you're waiting for the authorisation, you can track your events and threads in the My Submissions page, where you have an overview of all past and present events and threads.

Note that if you entered your birthday when registering, it will now show up in the Calendar. This is a great way of letting everyone know it's your birthday. As the calendar is restricted to St Anne's members only, nobody outside Anne's can see it.
If you'd still rather not have everyone see it, you can disable it by unticking the relevant box in your Profile page.
